Subject	Headlight misalignment?

Message	Hey guys! I am a new 300zx owner and I must admit that this car is amazing! I will be doing some body work / alignment oases soon but of biggest concern is the way the headlamps align with the front bumper. The guy before me installed an aftermarket front bumper first and foremost. Everything lines up perfect with fenders, etc. However, the headlamps have a gap between them and the bumper that is about half inch and ugly. If I were to loosten the bolts for the headlamps would I be able to slide/shim the lights out? I googled with no luck as I'm not trying to adjust the beam o.0 Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
